IceCube Neutrino Observatory
The IceCube Neutrino Observatory is an astrophysics research center located at the South Pole. Their research is truly one of a kind, so the design for their outreach has to reach that same caliber. Taking on the visualization of invisible phenomena was a challenge I had never faced before, but thoroughly enjoyed. A unique part of working for IceCube was the large range in their audience demographic. The science behind their work needed to be shared with not only other professional physicists and astronomy enthusiasts, but also everyday people and children with a desire to learn about science. The visuals had to be engaging, the content a true picture of the research being done, and attention had to be paid to every detail. Learn more about their work here.
